  • Love discuss writing?

Our friend Marie Boyum, was on blog talk radio Monday March 3rd beginning at 2PM.
You can listen to the show here

  • www.eloquentauthor.com has added our romance writer speaker, Carrie Lofty, to their line-up of teachers after hearing her speak at our meeting.
  • UW-Parkside is offering a mini-course called “Creative Basics for Writers” on 5 Mondays, begining March 31, from 7-830pm. Cost is $60. Limit of 12. I can tell you that I am one of the twelve, but have no idea how many are registered for the class. The description of the class is:

“This class teaches the ground rules for basic creative writing used in both fiction and non-fiction. It covers the story arc as well as the context and dialogue.”

This just might be what a few of us need to get the creative juices flowing again. It could also help with that “Cabin Fever” I’m sure many are suffering from - not just writers!

When it comes up, click on the “Language and Writing” under the “Mini Courses” option on the left hand side of the screen. You can then register on-line.

Carrie is a fine addition. The meeting she spoke at was very, very enlightning, informative and helpful. Anyone taking a class that she heads is in for a real treat.
